This page explains what Ronak Hairstylist collects through this website and its chat assistant, Rona, why, and how you can ask for it to be deleted.

Rona is an AI assistant

Rona is an automated AI assistant, not Ronak. It answers questions about the salon's services and helps you book. It does not assess your hair and it cannot book or confirm an appointment for you; booking happens in the booking system you open.

What is collected

• Chat messages. What you write to Rona and its replies, so Ronak can follow up and improve the service.
• Contact details you choose to send. If you use the contact form in the chat: your name, phone number, how you prefer to be contacted, the service you're interested in, and anything you add about your hair.
• Photos you choose to send. Photos of your hair or inspiration photos. They are resized in your browser before upload, which removes hidden photo data such as location. Only Ronak can view them.
• Technical data. A one-way hash of your IP address (never the address itself), used to prevent abuse, and which pages or buttons were used (for example, whether a booking button was clicked).

Why

To answer your questions, help you book, let Ronak contact you when you ask her to, protect the chat from misuse, and understand which parts of the site are useful. Your information is not sold and is not used for advertising.

Who processes it

These services process the information on the salon's behalf:

• Vercel — hosts the website and stores photos.
• Anthropic — provides the AI model that writes Rona's replies. It receives your chat messages, never your photos.
• Neon — the database that stores chats and contact requests.
• Twilio — sends Ronak a text or WhatsApp notification when you send a contact request.

These providers may store and process information outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be subject to local laws.

How long it is kept

Information is kept until you ask for it to be deleted.

Your choices

You can ask to see the information held about you, to correct it, or to have all of it deleted — your chats, contact details and photos. Emailronakhairstylist@gmail.com. You don't have to use the chat: you can always call 647-829-0800instead.
